Arma Kulenovic didn’t follow a straight path — and that is precisely what makes her different.
Born in Bosnia and a native speaker of Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian — three variants of the same language — as well as fluent in English and Italian, she has spent over 33 years building her career in the United Kingdom — running businesses, managing teams, navigating financial systems, and consulting across London, Sarajevo, and Rome.
She worked as a property professional in Kensington and Chelsea, one of London’s most competitive markets. She owned and managed a business in London for seven years. She spent four years at Oasis Umbrella as Onboarding Manager, where she led the firm’s successful FCA authorisation process from end to end — managing compliance documentation, regulatory requirements, client onboarding frameworks, and coordinating with regulatory bodies to achieve full FCA licensing.
Since 2023, she has worked as a freelance business consultant across London and Sarajevo — providing business strategy, compliance consulting, financial planning, operational restructuring, and digital transformation advisory to startups, SMEs, and established organisations.
She holds a BSc in Business Information Systems and an MSc in Finance and Risk Management from the University of West London, where her dissertation developed the macro-economic investment framework at the heart of LiteracyAI’s financial offering. She is currently pursuing a PhD in AI Ethics at Kingston University London.
She is a member of the Royal Economic Society and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
